Heh! Yes, it's the subject of much speculation. Which means: fanfic! Woo hoo! One of my favorite ring!fics has Dawn trying to buy the ring on eBay as a present for Buffy after the fall of Sunnydale. She is stymied by a mystery bidder. Whoever could it be? *blink, blink* I think it was by slaymesoftly. There's more of 'em, of course. Fanfic world is a wondrous place.
