LOL I used to do a lot of judging, and let me tell you, if you have a lot of wonderful fics in a category, it's flail time! I've spent weeks dithering and changing my mind about who should go where. On the other hand, if there are a lot of mediocre fics, it's very rewarding to have had a hand in seeing that the good ones are recognized... :)
