I think LJ viewers do comment more. Most of the time, it's mostly our flists that read, I think, with some others that wander by. And there's also more of a relationship on LJ. With an archive, you automatically have the potential of hundreds of readers, but it's so much more anonymous. Reviews versus hits can be surprising sometimes, but at least people are reading!
