rebcakeCongratulations to my many talented friends for getting the recognition they so richly deserve at Round 23 of the Sunnydale Memorial Fanfiction Awards.bruttimabuoni even nabbed the "Best Writer" award! Happy Dance! snickfic and dampersnspoons were among the winners, as was my new friend thepuddinhead! She is brand-new to LJ, though you can find her work on some of the Spuffy archives. It may take her a bit to get her "LJ-legs", but I know y'all will make this talented writer feel welcome. There are some equally deserving writers and stories who were nominated but ended up without any pretties and I'd like to take this opportunity to pet them. *pets* It's a crap shoot, darlings.
I managed a hat trick, in that I received three runner-up awards, one for each story nominated! I was especially pleased to share the "TV Crossover" 2nd place slot withsnickfic , whose story, The Very Small Girl and the Monster, is not only very good, but whose title matches mine perfectly! Plus both stories are about Sunnydale denizens in the future. In space! *cue Doctor Who theme song*
